About Susan

Susan Abbott Gidel is editor of the Red Letter Trading Days newsletter, a financial astrologer, and an author with deep roots in the commodity futures industry. She began her career as an editor at Futures Magazine and witnessed the golden age of financial futures and the development of options firsthand in the 1970s and 1980s. She served as director of marketing at Lind-Waldock from 2000 to 2011. She is the author of Stock Index Futures and Trading In Sync with Commodities. She earned a diploma from the International Academy of Astrology (IAA) in 2014, where she now teaches a financial astrology course, and speaks regularly on financial astrology topics. Susan owns SusanGSays LLC.
